With over 22 years of experience in the legal field, Par brings a broad depth of knowledge to the provision of paralegal support at Cote & Evans Trial Lawyers.  Par obtained her Criminology Diploma in 2000 before completing her Legal Administrative Assistant certification in 2001.  Par began her career as legal assistant/paralegal working for a number of well-respected firms located in Downtown Vancouver, focusing in the areas of personal injury, defence litigation, commercial litigation, medical malpractice, immigration and family law.  Returning to her career following maternity leave, and wanting to remain in the Surrey area, Par accepted a paralegal position with the precursor firm to Cote & Evans in June of 2011.

Par’s significant experience in all aspects of the litigation process has been a tremendous asset to the services provided by Cote & Evans Trial Lawyers and includes legal research, drafting pleadings, preparing chambers applications, gathering and summarizing evidence, preparing quantum assessments, summarizing discovery evidence, interviewing witnesses, considering and making recommendations with respect to appropriate experts required and instructing experts. Par works closely with lawyers and clients on files to ensure that essential steps are taken and important deadlines are met in the litigation process. She is highly regarded by her colleagues at Cote & Evans Trial Lawyers for the high quality of her work and her steadfast attention to detail. Par is a member of the BC Paralegal Association.
