Simran Bhullar

Simran joined Cote & Evans Trial Lawyers as a full-time articled student in May 2022. She completed her temporary articles with the Allard Law Criminal Law Clinic in 2021.

Simran graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2019, with a Bachelor of Arts, having pursued double majors in English and Psychology. She completed her JD with Allard Law in 2022.

Simran has grown up in Surrey, B.C. During her undergraduate degree, Simran consistently remained on the Dean’s List, obtaining a Trek Excellence Scholarship for Continuing Students as she was in the top 5% of UBC students in her programs. When Simran was pursuing her JD, she volunteered with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program as both a phone operator providing quick legal information for callers or responding to web messages for the same, as well as ran the Surrey-Gateway clinic as a clinic head for clients needing more in-depth help, such as organizing and attending court appearances as she had experience doing so as a clinician herself. Simran additionally was an editor for the Canadian Journal of Family Law, editing articles from various writers across the globe for publication in the journal.

In her free time, Simran enjoys working out and going for walks, or enjoying a nice cup of coffee.
