Associate

Shreya is an associate lawyer at Cote & Evans Trial Lawyers. 

Shreya completed her articles at Cote & Evans Trial Lawyers in 2019 and was called to the bar that same year. Shreya’s practice includes a broad spectrum of family law, civil litigation with a focus on defamation and ICBC insurance breaches, estate litigation and estate administration. She has appeared as counsel at all levels of court in British Columbia and has appeared before administrative tribunals. 

Shreya’s experience ranges from complex family matters to contract disputes and she regularly advises clients on the finer points of estate administration. 

Shreya earned her Juris Doctor in 2018 from Dalhousie University where she was involved with Pro Bono Students Canada and acted as a research assistant for the Law and Technology Institute at Dalhousie. In her third year she participated in the Laskin Moot and along with her team, placed in the top four teams at the Laskin Moot. 

Shreya is pleased to provide services in English and Bengali. Outside of the office, Shreya enjoys cooking, kayaking and spending time with her family.
