Shreya earned her Juris Doctor in 2018 from Dalhousie University. During her time as a law student she was involved with Pro Bono Students Canada, the Dalhousie Feminist Legal Association and the Dalhousie Legal Aid Clinic. In her second year, she also acted as a research assistant for the Law and Technology Institute at Dalhousie. In her third year she participated in the Laskin Moot and along with her team, placed in the top four teams at the Moot.
Shreya received her B.A. in English Literature from the University of British Columbia in 2014. Prior to working at Cote & Evans, Shreya was a summer student at the Access Pro Bono Society of British Columbia where she gained valuable experiences in advocacy and research.
Shreya has completed her articles with the firm in 2019 and joined the firm as an associate in that same year. She regularly practices in family law, criminal law, civil litigation, and has appeared before the Provincial Court, the Supreme Court and before several tribunals.
Outside of work, Shreya enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking and getting outdoors.
