Baneet is an associate lawyer at Cote & Evans Trial Lawyers.

Baneet’s practice includes criminal law, family law, and civil litigation.

In her criminal practice, she has handled a broad range of matters, including assaults, firearm-related offences, and drug-related charges. In her family law practice, Baneet has experience dealing with matters ranging from simple separation agreements to high conflict divorces.

Baneet regularly appears as counsel in Provincial Court and Supreme Court, representing clients in matters ranging from trials involving complex issues, to chambers applications, and sentencing hearings.

Baneet completed her articles at Cote & Evans Trial Lawyers and was
welcomed back as an Associate after being called to the bar. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria. During her time in law school, Baneet continued her work in the non-profit sector, including assisting women experiencing intimate partner violence, inmates serving federal sentences, and other marginalized communities.

Baneet is able to provide services in English and Punjabi. Outside of the office, Baneet enjoys running, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.
